It's quite apparent that teaching is not just bread and butter to Stanislav, but a mission and passion.

This was such an awesome wonderful experience - I'm sure it won't be my last! Already I have been here twice and each time I experience Russians at their best-kind, welcoming, open, and soulful!!! I love the atmosphere, the culture, and the language! Thank you all for making this time in St. Petersburg especially wonderful and especially to Raissa Pavlovna for her excitement, energy, and enthusiasm for teaching Russian in such a way - nobody could complain. This school deserves the best of luck and success!

  An alle Extra Class!
Ich kam nach St. Petersburg ohne jegliche Kentnisse des russischen Sprache. Stanislav habe geschafft, mit immer 8 Wohen eine Basis zu geben, auf der ich aufbauen kann. Ich glaube, ich kann mich jetzt auf eigene Faust durch den Welden-Osten schlagen. Noch nie habe ich so schnell und mit soviel Spass eine Fremdsprache erlernt.

ALL PEOPLE AT "EXTRA CLASS" HAVE A GREAT PREPARATION FOR LANGUAGE TEACHERING AND A LARGE OPEN-MINDEDNESS FOR NEEDS AND DIFFICULTIES OF STUDENTS.
MOREOVER, DURING LESSONS, THEY PROVIDE VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE HISTORY AND MIND OF RUSSIA, A NATION THAT IS A PROTAGONIST OF WORD-WIDE CULTURE.

To my friends at “Extra-Class”

  I really enjoyed my stay in Russia and at “Extra-Class”. I think that I’ve improved my language skills more than I could have done in one year at university. On top of that, I had the opportunity to live with Russians intensely. It was an experience I will never forget. Special thanks to Stas for the conversations on Russian history and politics, to Raissa for her excellent lessons, to Sasha for the warm home she provided me with and, last but not least, to Lena for her companionship.

An alle sprachbegeisterten Schüler von “Extra-Class”!

  Ich war angenehm überrascht von der Hilfsbereitschaft der Extra-Class-Mitarbeiter. Zwar kannte ich die Stadt schon von einem früheren Aufenthalt, doch fand ich, Dank der mich begleitenden Mitarbeiter von Extra-Class, immer neue interessante Aussichten dieser schönen Stadt. Leider waren zwei Wochen Aufenthalt ein wenig zu kurz, doch kann ich alle Interessierten zur Nachahmung auffordern. Dabei sei besonders zum Besuch einer russischen Sauna aufgefordert. Ganz besonders möchte ich natürlich auf die Resultate beim Erlernen der russischen Sprache hinweisen. Gesamturteil: “Sehr gut!” und “Macht Lust auf mehr!”

  Thank you for wonderful four weeks – I’m so glad I managed to stay for the extra two weeks – I got addicted and could have stayed for two more!
  Special thanks to Raissa Pavlovna who was a wonderful teacher – the 80 hours just flew by and I enjoyed every minute.
  And of course I’m grateful to Stas, Elena and Sasha for getting my visa in just a week!

  “Extra-Class” is an excellent example of Perestroika which does not turn into “Katastroika” – ambitious Russian staff building its own school instead of working for a foreigner-owned one. Director Stanislav Chernyshov and his crew combine high-level language expertise in Russian with what you’d suppose to be more “Central-European” assets: professional preparation of the lessons, reliability and friendliness of the staff, extensive caretaking even far beyond the lessons. I especially appreciated the willingness to adopt to special needs of the student.
